A state-of-charge battery icon on the display highlights the level of charge. Motor power comes from the lithium ion battery - there is no recharging as you pedal.

5 years frame, 1 year motor, 1 year battery, and 1 year on standard bike parts (excluding tires, tubes, fabrics, grips, chain, cables, and brake pads).
